Step One

A prompt arrives

A few times a month, we send a short text. Not a notification. A question. "What made her laugh this week?" · "Share any new skills, interests, or quirks form this month!" · "What was his favorite summertime activity?" Change the question style, pause for a month, or stop entirely by replying STOP. All of it from the same text thread.

Step 2

You reply like you'd reply to a friend.

A photo and a line. That is the entire ask. You do not need to write well, and you do not need a good photograph. The ones that land are almost never the good photographs — they are the ones with something true in the caption. Miss one? Nothing happens. There is no streak, and we will never send you a message designed to make you feel behind. That is a promise, not a setting.

Step Three

We build, you approve.

Step 4

And then it's out of your hands

Email digests go out the same day you approve. Printed copies are in the mail within a week. Your recipients do not sign up, log in, or install anything. It simply turns up.

From where they're sitting

What your family actually experiences.

An envelope with your mom's name handwritten on it. Or an email, on the phone she already knows how to use. She does not create an account. She never gets a password reset. She is never asked to download anything, at any point, for any reason. If she wants to say something back, she replies — and you get it.
