I'm Emily and I'm a photographer, which makes this even more embarrassing: I have thousands of photos of my own kids - and the people I love the most have seen almost none of them.
Not for lack of caring, of course. The photos live on my phone, I'm busy, forget to post, forget to send that shared gallery. My grandma doesn't even know what a shared gallery is. That reminder to make the Albums of my baby's year-in-review is now 8 year past due.
Meanwhile, my family is printing photos off of Facebook posts and pinning them to the fridge - that's not the experience I want for them!
I do this for a living, it's my full time job. If I cannot manage it getting life updates to family in a meaningful way, then it isn't an effort issue, it's a process and service issue.
Six months of my own camera roll. Nothing staged, retouched, posed or curated. These are the images that matter the most.

The baby has discovered a keyboard for the first time - AND - she loves watching herself on camera. 😅

It's bittersweet, but she is growing lots!

She likes a gentle swing, but LOVES watching Mommy shoot for the stars!

First camping trip - and first fire roasted corn. It's a hit!

Oops - I seem to have lost her.

First trip to an amusement park, and I think she's hooked!
I thought it up, had so many plans and ideas, but no time.
I told my mom and grandma, they were SO excited!!! Not only would they get the sweet updates, but they would arrive in a physical manner, printed, ready to show off to friends and family.
My grandma's fridge was prepped and ready!
That's how we got here, a real service provided for all of the overwhelmed and tired parents trying to share the most precious, fleeting moments.

She went to her first Opening Day and it was FREEZING! We had to buy a blanket, hat, and gloves on top of her winter coat. Yikes! She loves it, though!

She wrote and illustrated her own story in Kindergarten! I'm so glad the teacher took this photo for me. She got to read it to her small group. Isn't she soooooo cute???

T Ball has officially started! She's on the purple Rockies team and despite the wet and chilly weather, seems to be enjoying it.

She is a little freaked out by the rambunctious boys, but she likes her coaches and she looks ADORABLE!
